About The Surf Lessons in Jaco

Your lesson begins on the beach with a professional instructor who will guide you through the fundamentals of surfing, including ocean safety, paddling techniques, wave selection, positioning, and proper standing techniques. Once you’re comfortable with the basics, it’s time to hit the water and put your new skills into action.
With warm Pacific waters, consistent waves, and a sandy ocean floor, Jaco provides ideal conditions for beginners and intermediate surfers alike. Your instructor will remain by your side throughout the session, offering personalized coaching and encouragement to help you progress as quickly as possible.

Important Note
Surf conditions vary daily based on tides, swell, and weather conditions. Our instructors will select the safest area and adapt the lesson to current conditions and participant experience levels to ensure the best possible experience.
Activity Times
This activity is based on tides which change daily, we normally operate in the morning or afternoon, but you must inquire beforehand to get the schedule for the next few days.
Cancellation Policy
Online reservations offer 5 days before the tour starts for a full refund, with no refunds after that. No-show or late arrivals, there will be no refunds, and the payment/deposit will be lost.
